Frequently Asked Questions
1) Can I order a container and have same day delivery?
Due to scheduling, online ordering does not allow for same day delivery.
Please call if you need this service. At least a 24 hour notice is generally needed for delivery.
2) How long do I get to keep the container?
The website price includes a 10 day rental period that includes the delivery date and is consecutive days including weekends and holidays. Containers that would have the 10th day fall on a Sunday will be moved to Monday as there is not service on Sundays.
Should you need the container longer, a daily rate will apply and can be arranged as needed.
3) What if I am done with my container before my scheduled collection date?
Please call and let us know that you are finished and we will work your collection into our schedule.
4) If I only need the container for 1 day, is it cheaper?
We strive to accommodate our customer’s needs, and there is no discount as all the costs of fuel and dump fees are the same and the rental time is for the customer’s benefit.
5) What if I go over the stated weight allowance?
If you don’t load any of the restricted items - see Terms and Conditions Sect.1 or asphalt shingles, you should not exceed the weight allowance. In the event that you do, additional fees will be incurred and due immediately. See Terms and Conditions Sect. 3 for extra fees.
6) What type of payment is accepted?
Pay Pal, Visa, Master Card, Discover Card, American Express and cash. Sorry, we no longer accept checks.
Payment is needed for delivery and will be required when ordering.
7) Is there an extra charge for delivery on Saturday?
No. Delivery on Saturday is available with no extra charge.
8) Are there any fuel, pick up or any hidden charges?
No. There are no added fuel surcharges, collection fees or extra fees provided that you follow and understand the Terms and Conditions Sect. 3.
9) How many times can I fill the container?
The price you receive includes ONE dump and rental period.
10) What do I do with hazardous materials?
You cannot put any hazardous waste into the roll off container. If you need to dispose of a refrigerator or freezer, call Unwanted Appliances. Many auto parts stores recycle used motor oil and car batteries.
Contact your local municipalities as many offer hazardous materials drop sites and collection.
11) Can I have the container placed on the street?
Many cities require a street permit to put the container on the street. Please call us to inquire and allow time to obtain the permit if required and there may be additional fees for the permit.
12) How do I know the truck will fit in my drive?
You need to have at least 10 feet width, 13 feet length and not have any over head power lines or overhangs where you want the container placed. The containers can be placed on a slope, but the ground needs to be even. Our truck is equipped with 4 wheel drive and is a smaller truck that can access most alleys and drives.
A container may even be placed through a gated area providing the minimum 10’ width is available.
